Fondation JR Foundation

The help that you need to cope and relax.

A welcoming vision for mental wellness, family connection, meaningful activities and restorative time in nature in Northern New Brunswick.

Compassion • Connection • Community

Mental wellness for loved ones and families.

Fondation JR Foundation is being developed around compassion, connection, nature and supportive community experiences. Our vision is a calm place for people living with schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, autism and all sorts of mental illnesses—along with their loved ones and families—to reconnect, rest and take part in meaningful outdoor and indoor activities.

We are carefully planning a wellness centre that feels warm and welcoming—not clinical. Nature, shared routines and family connection guide everything we imagine.

Peaceful wellness landscape

A peaceful wellness setting

The centre will sit on 50 acres of land near NB Trails and only 5 km from the Baie des Chaleurs—quiet paths, soft indoor gathering spaces, gardens and open skies designed for reflection, conversation and restorative time together.

Therapeutic farm vision

Our therapeutic farm vision includes gardens, a greenhouse, hands-on growing and caring for animals—horses, sheep, chickens, goats and more—so people can take part seasonally. Our goal is to help support food production for approximately 30 people year-round.

Family cottages

We envision cottages where family members can stay close, reconnect, rest and take part in the surrounding community experience. Accommodation availability will be confirmed as the project advances.

Activities through the seasons

Seasonal programming may include gardening, greenhouse work, nature walks, creative activities, shared meals and quiet reflection. Exact activities depend on weather, staffing and future confirmation.
